We are excited to welcome you back to Paris Cat!
In line with government regulations, we will be having dine-in service whilst enjoying our live shows.
To help protect our patrons and our staff we will be enforcing strict health and hygiene standards.
Masks
(New statewide restrictions come into effect from 11:59pm tonight, 3 February)
Masks will be mandatory in public indoor spaces. Masks must be worn in indoor public spaces apart from when eating or drinking. If you are planning to leave your home – take a mask.
Record Keeping
Upon arrival at our venue you will be required to sign in using our electronic QR code record keeping.
Upon Entry Temperature Check
Whilst there has been some COVID cases pop up in our beloved city over Summer - We have decided to implement a temperature check upon entry to all our patrons and musicians as part of our COVID safe plan.
Can I come in for just a drink?
Yes you are welcome to come in for a drink in our Gallery Mezzanine Bar!
Can I stay for a drink after the show?
You are welcome to stay and have a drink in our Gallery Mezzanine Bar after the show.
How can I pay?
We will be taking both cash and card payments. Guests are encouraged to secure their table online via our website pariscat.com.au to avoid disappointment.
Is food available throughout each show?
Of course we will have our Menu available to purchase food throughout all our performances. Pls view our menu here: https://pariscat.com.au/menu.
Can I book a large group?
Guests are welcome to book for large groups of up to 20 patrons when attending our performances.
Will Big Bands be performing?
Unfortunately not at this time. Not until social distancing restrictions have eased.
Do I have to sit down to eat my meal?
At this stage we will continue to have all guests seated to view our performances. You are welcome to purchase your food and beverages at the bar and our staff will then bring your food to your table.
What precautions and safety measures are you taking?
Paris cat has been commercially COVID cleaned approved prior to re-opening and continues to be commercially cleaned each week. We ensure to have hand sanitiser stations for guests to use upon entry and available again in each performance room, toilet entry as well as laminated menus, each room is cleaned and disinfected between each performance to reduce the spread of germs. Staff are required to wash hands frequently and sanitise the venue throughout the night.
What do I do if I visit Paris Cat and then find out I have COVID - 19?
Please contact us immediately so we can take further action to ensure the safety of others. Contact information for every customer will be noted so that they can be informed in the sudden case of coronavirus case.
What information will Paris Cat collect from guests?
As per the government guidelines we will ask each guests to provide their first name and contact number. This information will enable us to quickly contact those who were potentially exposed in the event of a positive case. After 28 days the records will be destroyed.
Can I book a function?
You sure can! Please contact our Functions Co-ordinator for more information! Private Cocktail Functions are now available for up to 50 patrons in our Gallery bar on Thursday evenings, smaller non-exclusive functions of up to 25 are available in this Gallery Bar on our Friday and Saturday evenings, this room will still be open to the public on our main weekend nights. Private functions can be held also on our Sunday evenings.

PARIS CAT GENERAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS…
Where is the Paris Cat?
We are situated between Little Bourke St and Lonsdale St near Queen Street, behind Hardware Lane in Goldie Place.
What nights are we open?
We are currently open Thursday night through to Saturday night, and we feature 4 shows on our Friday’s and Saturday’s. The club is based over 3 levels featuring 2 separate performance rooms. Special events are also listed on our website throughout the year including touring artist performances on our Monday Tuesday and Sunday evenings. Subscribe to our website for all the latest happenings.
Are minors allowed to attend a show?
Children 14 years and up can attend a performance, so long as they are with a parent/guardian at all times. We do not except an 18 year old as a guardian to a minor - if you are unsure and would like clarification before attending our venue regarding any underage entry - Please contact us via email direct at info@pariscat.com.au to avoid any confusion or disappointment at the door. Our venue is a licensed venue and ALL patrons must carry their ID. In the form of either a Drivers Licence, Proof of Age card or passport.
Can you purchase tickets at the door?
We do allow tickets to be sold at the door, but PLEASE NOTE most of our weekend show’s sell out before the night. There will be no tickets available at the door if a show says it’s SOLD OUT on the website.
If you are planning a special evening, we strongly recommend you pre-purchase your table online.
Do online bookings include seating?
Yes, by purchasing your tickets online this secures you seating to the show at a table. It is important to note that if you arrive late for a performance your table may not be held.
Management recommends you arrive half an hour before showtime to be seated. We cannot guarantee your seats will be held after the show has started.
Opening Times & Closing Times?
The club opens at 7.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday nights and closes at 11pm.
The club opens at 5.30pm on our Friday’s and Saturday’s and we close at 12am.
And Sunday’s the club opens at 6.30pm and closes at 10pm.
Showtimes?
Our mid week gig showtimes are at either 8pm or 8-30pm sharp. See website for show times.
Our early weekend show’s start at 6pm in The Loft (6pm-and 6.30pm in our Basement Performance Room. (COVID adjusted show structure) Duration is 2 sets between 6.30pm-8.10pm.
Occasionally we have a special 6pm showtime. ( This will be highlighted on our website )
We have an 9.00pm weekend show in our Parisian Loft Performance Room. (COVID adjusted show structure) Duration is 2 Sets played between 9.00pm-11.15pm)
And our late show on our weekends commences at 9.30pm sharp in our Basement Performance room. ( 2 Sets played between 9.30pm-11.45pm)
Advertised show times indicate the start of the performance.
Information on all our upcoming shows are available via our website, when you press the 'BOOK NOW' this displays the press kit in greater detail on the act you may be interested in attending - this also gives you information on the show duration, time, genre and performance room.
Group Bookings
Group bookings are popular, your booking will appear on our guest list and seating will be arranged for your group. If you are booking a table and would like to sit together with another table, please fill in the comments section with your seating instructions For example “I’m here for John Smith’s b’day please seat my table with their group” or send us and email on info@pariscat.com.au.
You can either purchase all the tables of 4 in one booking or your guests can purchase their own table individually online.
Gallery Room
CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
Our Gallery room is available for private functions of up to 70 guests. Please email us at info@pariscat.com.au for further details on our packages.
The Gallery is also where guests can arrive and have a drink prior to attending the late show on a Friday or Saturday evening. The bar is open from 7pm and
Guests from our early 7.00pm show are welcome to head upstairs to our Gallery for drinks after the show as well. The Gallery Bar closes at approx 11pm. Its a great spot for a catch up.
Do you serve food?
We offer a Tapas menu. Menu items range from Tasting Platters for 4 - Anitpasto & Vegetarian Options available, Wedges, Arancini, Cheese/Salami platters, Pizzetta’s, Marinated olives and more….
Gluten Free Pizza Bases are available upon request.
For our functions we offer larger and more detailed canapés which are listed on our function flyer packages. If you are interested in our functions please fill in the enquiry form and we will reply with in 24 hours.
Do you have a Bar?
We have our Gallery Bar (currently closed) and also our Basement and Loft Bars. A full range of premium wines, champagne, spirits, local and imported beers and cocktails are available.
Do you have Disabled Access?
The club is situated in a basement and we do not have disabled access. We can assist guests down the stairs upon arrival if they wish.
Eftpos?
We do have eftpos and credit card facilities as the club. We however do not accept Diners or American Express.
Talking during shows?
We allow discreet conversation during performances, out of respect for our artists if a group are becoming noisy they will be asked to keep their voices down.
If guests wish to have a louder conversation they are welcome to chat more freely upstairs in our Gallery.
Is the Paris Cat open over Christmas?
The club will be closed after the last Saturday before Christmas Eve and we re-open the second Thursday in Jan.
How do you get a gig at the Paris Cat?
If you would like to perform at the Paris Cat please email us your press kit with some live footage of your performances to info@pariscat.com.au.
If we think your band would suit our business model we will be in contact. Please note that we listen to all submissions and they are kept on file. We only reply to suitable submissions if we have dates available.
Dress Code?
Smart casual to cocktail. Our guests are welcome to attend neatly dressed or go all out for a special occasion.
